What is the purpose of this page?
This page has two handouts at the top of the page.
- One is a PDF printout of our biology learning playlist, which is in the order our videos are presented in from our playlist.
- The second is an in-progress Google doc where you can see each video name, additional resources we've made that go with the video, and standards the video and resources can support.
How often will you update your actual YouTube video playlist?
We typically release a video monthly, and if it's a content video, we add it to our playlist. If it's an update video of one we already have, we take the old video out of the playlist (but no worries as we don't delete it) and add the new one in the playlist.
What made you decide on this sequence for your YouTube video playlist?
We should first mention that, rather than focusing on the sequence, we think it is far more important for the student to understand how all of these topics are connected. This sequence is set up in a way where we found it especially nice to connect the topics together, and it is a popular sequence found in many high school biology classrooms. Keep in mind we are still creating more videos!
So, your biology learning playlist on YouTube contains all of your biology videos?
Yes, except for old videos that have already been updated! When we update a video, we take the old video out of the learning playlist and replace it with the new, updated one. But we do not typically delete the old video so you should be able to still access our old videos separately.
